Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby. Langston Hughes

The rain is near. Captured from the balcony of our flat at the kochi city of Kerala state of India. The monsoon rains are at it’s peak. If you love rains, this is the best time to visit Kerala. Since it is off season for tourism in Kerala, one can expect good discounts on all travel related stuff in Kerala during the months of June and July. Canon 550d, tokina wide angle.

Chasing the monsoon

Rain clouds come floating in, not to muddy my days ahead, but to make me calm, happy and hopeful.” ― rajuda

We love the rainy days, because it is really nice to sleep during the heavy rains. In Kerala, the rainy season opens up opportunities for the photographer, and I am very hopeful about it. In this photograph I tried to capture the drops below the balcony grill. Not quite satisfied with it. I want to capture a macro image of a raindrop with the surroundings reflected on the drop. Have a nice day. Aby.
