A Bahrain view

From the 22nd floor of the hotel I stayed at Bahrain. The 360 degree view of Bahrain from this spot during the early mornings and the evenings are spectacular. Used my canon 550d and the tokina wide angle lens.

The family is the nucleus of civilization. Will Durant

I always love the sight of the vast expanse of the city, to be precise the vast expanse of the roof tops, which reminds me of the innumerable people, families, cultures, diversity, unity and civilization. Captured from the roof top of the hotel at Bahrain, in the morning using my canon 550d, with tokina wide angle and the Hoya cpl filter. Aby.

A Bahrain postcard for you

There was still another half an hour for the cab to pick me up from the hotel to the training venu. What can be done within this thirty minutes?. I grabbed by camera with the tokina wide angle lens, with the Hoya cpl filter mounted on it, and went to the roof garden on the 24th floor of the hotel I am staying. I was slightly late, and was greeted with the warm sun. Tried to compose a shot by adjusting the circular polarising filter. It gave the perfect blue tinge to the sky, when the sun light was falling from the sides of the lens. I got a couple of reasonably good photographs. Here is one for you straight away, and hope you will like it. Enjoy. Aby.
